A CHEF'S CONFESSION
5th - 6th of September 2026, The Chow Kit
In collaboration with The Chow Kit, Krate is bringing A Chef's Confession all the way from Melaka to Kuala Lumpur - an immersive murder mystery dining set in the intrigue and elegance of 1930s Malaya.
Step into a world where Peranakan cuisine is served, secrets simmer beneath silk and silver, and nothing is quite what it seems. This is not just a meal, it's an investigation.
Guests will begin with a shared Peranakan meal, before being split into smaller groups to encounter characters, uncover clues and work together to crack the case. Whether you choose to role-play or simply observe, the mystery unfolds around you and you're part of the story. We look forward to having you join us for A Chef's Confession at The Chow Kit.
Krate is a creative space and cafe, connecting you to your passion, purpose, and people,
all while serving you the best cup of coffee and dessert
Krate Cafe is open to everyone from Wednesday to Sunday (10am-6pm)
Located at Bukit Beruang, Melaka.
